Session 1: Thirsting for God

God calls us into the most intimate of relationships–to know and be known. The Bible is startling in how relational God is, which is where this talk will start, and then move into how building such relational intimacy with God can be further strengthened by reading the great Christian classics.

Session 2: Pure Pleasure

Christians tend to be suspicious of pleasure, at best, as if God isn’t the one who designed and engineered us with such an amazing capacity for a variety of different pleasures. This talk asks the question, “What if pleasure isn’t the problem; what if pleasure is part of the solution?” We’ll look at how a biblical view of pleasure can 1) increase our worship 2) fortify us against temptation and 3) renew our relationships
